Can you guys believe that Halloween is just two days away? I normally have all of my costume and decor preparations taken care of way in advance but this year I am way behind schedule. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with the fact that I just started a new teaching position this past September and I have been completely swamped with work and everything else. This weekend I am taking advantage to spend some quality time with my boys getting ready for Halloween. They have always enjoyed all of the festivities around this holiday and, despite their being older, they still enjoy helping me get everything ready. Since my younger nephews are coming over too, I have some fun arts and crafts planned including the one below: Felt Candy Corn Puppet Craft Supplies needed: White, black, orange, yellow craft felt Hot glue, glue gun Scissors Directions: 1. Spooky Pumpkin Grahams
We are two days away from Halloween and I am here going crazy trying to make sure my sons costumes arrive on time. Both of our boys have been sick the past two weeks so I have been very busy taking care of them and trying to sanitize our home of all the sick germs. As a result, I am way behind schedule this year with all my Halloween preparations. There is always time to prepare and enjoy a delicious treat so I took some time this week to make some Spooky Pumpkin Grahams for my guys. I figured they could use a pick-me-up after being sick and I was tired of the monotony of cleaning everything so I needed a distraction. Not only am I really pleased at how they turned out, but everyone loved them. I plan of making more to give out to the Trick or Treaters on Saturday. Halloween Chalkboard Place Markers
Everyone knows that Halloween is one of the most fun holidays of the year. It's a time to dress up and be spooky and it's also perfect for entertaining and hosting Halloween parties. I've always loved themed gatherings so I decided to create some Halloween chalkboard place markers to liven up our family dinner next weekend. As many of you know, I'm a pretty busy lady so I'm always on the lookout for activities and crafts that are fun but that also don't take a lot of time and effort to do. I am really excited about these place markers because they are a cinch to put together and you can get all of the supplies to make them at your local craft store. Halloween Chalkboard Place Markers Supplies needed: Wide wood craft sticks Chalkboard paint (spray paint is easiest) Chalk Felt stickers (Michael’s carries a Halloween themed bag that includes witch hats, candy corn, owls, and pumpkins) Craft glue Directions: 1. … [Read more...]
