Enjoy A Staycation At Crystal Springs Resort! @CrystalSprings #ExploreCrystal #Ad

Sometimes we all need to just get away from it all.  I can tell you that I have been completely overwhelmed the last couple of months.  Aside from adjusting to our new normal upon receiving our younger son's Epilepsy diagnosis, school recently ended here in New York City and this teacher needed a break!      Unfortunately, due to my husband's work schedule, it is not always possible to book an extended vacation so we often book a family staycation here and there just to maintain our sanities.  When I found out that Crystal Springs Resort is located in the Northeast and offers a unique vacation experience with luxurious amenities that are unavailable elsewhere locally, I knew we had to go there for our little getaway!    My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Minerals Resort & Spa in Vernon, New Jersey.  Crystal Springs Resort boasts 3 unique upscale lodging properties which are highlighted by the sophisticated Grand Cascades Lodge.  We knew that Minerals Resort … [Read more...]

We Made Unforgettable Family Memories At Morey’s Piers! #MoreysPiers @MoreysPiers #Sponsored

*Our family received complimentary lodging, entertaiment and meals as part of a Press Trip from Morey’s Piers. As always our opinions are 100% our own.       I'm sure many of you have been following our family adventures recently on social media.  We had the opportunity to visit the Jersey Shore last weekend to enjoy a weekend family vacation at Morey's Piers.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with the famous Morey's Piers, it is located in Wildwood, New Jersey and boasts a 1.8 mile boardwalk along with some amazing beachfront water parks.    We arrived Friday evening and checked into the Starlux Hotel.  As soon as we drove up, I immediately liked its retro feel.  It's a boutique hotel with an all glass lobby and lounge which opens into the pool promenade and has the boardwalk just a walking distance away.  We were treated to a continental breakfast every morning for the duration of our stay and stayed in one of … [Read more...]

We Had A Wonderful Time At Medieval Times NJ! @MedievalTimes #Travel #Sponsored

*This post was written by me on behalf of Medieval Times.  I received complimentary product samples to facilitate this review.  All opinions are 100% mine.    We were very excited to have the opportunity to review the family experience at Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. From the moment we arrived we were in awe of how magnificent and regal the venue was. I knew it would look like a castle but I never expected it to be so authentic.    We received the star treatment from the moment we arrived until the end of the show. As soon as we checked in, we were escorted to our seats in the front row which afforded us an up-close view of all of the action. Our server immediately came over to introduce himself and to ask us for our drink order. I was impressed by how pleasant he was and the fact that he spoke directly to our boys and asked them what they wanted to drink.    During dinner we were transported to a time of knights, bravery, and all of the chivalry that comes with … [Read more...]

Monster Jam® Is Coming To The IZOD Center! Family 4-Pack Ticket Giveaway

Last year, my family and I had the pleasure of attending Monster Jam at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.  It was, without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable events that we have ever attended as a family.  Between the sounds of the Monster Trucks and the excitement of the audience, we had a blast!  That is why we are so excited that Monster Jam is returning to the New York Tri-state area in the coming weeks at the IZOD Center in NJ.    The event will feature some of the most powerful monster trucks in the circuit, including the legendary Grave Digger, Shockwave, El Toro Loco, Son UVA Digger, Team Hot Wheels Firestorm, Bounty Hunter, Scarlet Bandit and Thrasher.     Standing at 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, monster trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. … [Read more...]
