My family loves Entenmann's® donuts and, at any given time during the week, you will find them in our kitchen. Hubby and our boys love their chocolate donuts and they don't last very long when we get them because they all get in from work and school and love to dip into the box. Half of the time, I can barely get one for myself because they are all gone! Back-to-school season is here and Entenmann's is partnering with The Great American Milk Drive, hoping to deliver 100,000 servings of milk to children and families in need across the country! After all, donuts and milk are perfect together! I can't think of a better way to support families than by providing them with milk to add to their daily nutrition needs. It's wonderful that Entenmann's is also joining this initiative and giving back to the community in this way. Entenmann's is proud to join The Great American Milk Drive in the "Entenmann's Donuts & Milk: … [Read more...]

Celebrate Latino Culture – Rice Pudding Recipe #HerenciaLeche @SiempreLeche #Ad
*This is part of a sponsored collaboration with MilkPEP and DiMe Media. However, all opinions expressed are my own. Enjoying delicious food is an integral part of Latino culture. There are so many recipes that immediately catapult me back to my childhood and remind me of my rich heritage. One particular dessert always comforts me and overwhelms me with happy memories about joyful family gatherings and being surrounded by those who truly have mattered in my life. For these reasons, I love to prepare and enjoy rice pudding with my own family in the hopes that they will also be reminded of these good times we spend together whenever they enjoy this decadent treat. The best part about making rice pudding for my family is that it contains milk and its 8 grams of high quality protein with every serving. I'm trying to raise strong boys and I know that the human body needs protein, which is found in milk, to build muscles and … [Read more...]
Oats And Apple Smoothie Recipe #HerenciaLeche @SiempreLeche #Ad
*This is part of a compensated campaign with Latina Mom Bloggers and MilkPEP. However, all opinions expressed are my own. This week I have started to notice that the leaves are finally starting to change colors here in New York City. I really love the Fall because the weather gets cooler and it is a busy and exciting time preparing for the upcoming holidays. Everyone seems to be busy and productive and our home has returned to keeping up with school schedules, extracurricular activities, and sports. Since Hispanic Heritage Month is also in the Fall, many Latino families like ours also enjoy this time of the year because it allows them to share time-honored traditions with their families and loved ones. Preparing food together and sharing family recipes is an integral part of our culture. Many Latino family recipes contain milk as a key ingredient. Growing up in Spain, I can still recall the delicious cheeses that were served during the afternoon when kids were … [Read more...]

I always try to get my boys to drink the leftover milk from their cereal bowls. They are both not really big milk drinkers to begin with and I constantly worry about them getting enough calcium in their diets. As a mother, I know that it is important to monitor their eating habits to make sure that they are receiving enough calcium and Vitamin D. What better way to get kids to drink their milk than by slurping it down to the bottom of the bowl with their new Curvy Straws, available in packs of especially marked boxes of Big G cereals. These collectable, connectable curvy straws come in six different colors and feature beloved Big G cereal characters. Kids can have a great time mixing and matching them to build bigger and more colorful straws. Parents can enjoy knowing that their children are building stronger bones and muscles through their increased calcium intake. The best thing is that kids can also use these straws to enjoy ice cold milk from … [Read more...]
