*This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Pampers. All opinions are 100% mine. My husband and I tried for almost four years to become pregnant with our first child. After much prayer and frustration, we finally found out that we were expecting and it was one of the single most joyous day of our lives. From that very first moment, we were determined to document every precious first-time event through writing and taking photographs. The first thing that I did was to start keeping a journal throughout my pregnancy to have a record of all of the thoughts and emotions that I was experiencing. We also started putting together a photo album that included all of the sonogram images that we were given at my obstetrician appointments. Obviously, the culminating moment of our joy was the birth of our son in June. It was during that very moment that my husband and I learned what it meant to fall in "love at first sight." We never … [Read more...]

Celebrate Your Love Of Fútbol And Your National Pride! #MiEquipoMiHerencia #Sponsored
*This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Pampers. All opinions are 100% mine. Let me bring you back to my childhood in Spain during the early nineteen eighties…There was nothing better than sitting around the television surrounded by family and watching Fútbol. Everyone just seemed to be happier during this time and nothing else was as important as celebrating that moment with loved ones and cheering on our favorite teams. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that soccer is a huge sport in Spain and other Hispanic countries. Now that I have my own family, sharing these time honored cultural traditions with our sons is very important to my husband and I. After all, they can't know where they are going if they don't know where they came from. As a result, getting together to honor our national pride and our love of fútbol as a family is pretty high on our list of priorities. This past week, my sons have been spending a lot of time … [Read more...]
Mission Gift Of Sleep Accomplished! #Pampers @Pampers #Giveaway #Ad
Disclosure: This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Pampers. However, all opinions expressed are my own. One of the things that makes me the most happy about blogging is being able to "Pay it forward" and to share wonderful products and experiences with deserving moms all over the country. I was thrilled when I learned that I would have the opportunity to give the Gift of Sleep to a mom or a family in need because it truly is better to give than to receive. Thanks to Pampers, I was able to launch a mission to ease the financial burden of a mom whom I know could really use the help. It wasn't difficult to immediately realize who I would share the $100 gift card and the Pampers diapers with. You see, there is one mom who has always struggled financially as a single parent and never complained about having to do it all for her three boys. She has always worked long hours and even worked overtime on the weekend just to make ends meet but … [Read more...]
Pampers Unites Babies From Across The Country In NYC! #pampersamorsueñosjuegos
*This sponsored post was written by me on behalf of Pampers and Latina Mom Bloggers. All opinions are 100% mine. This past Summer, I had the opportunity to reflect on the love, sleep and play that I witnessed and experienced as a new mother when I had both of my sons. Pampers launched a program to celebrate the profound impact that parents experience when they see their babies engaging with the world around them for the first time. Parents all across North America were prompted to share photos of their babies experiencing love, sleep, or play. Last week, Pampers united babies from across the country to celebrate this campaign in a star-studded event in New York City's legendary Grand Central Terminal and I had the pleasure of attending. Pampers received more than 30,000 photo submissions of babies enjoying love, sleep, or play and they compiled the images into a huge 3-D projection. Expectant mothers, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mexican actress, mom and TV … [Read more...]
The Joy Of Experiencing Love, Sleep, Or Play #pampersamorsueñosjuegos #Ad
*This sponsored post was written by me on behalf of Latina Mom Bloggers and Pampers. All opinions are 100% mine. Ten years ago, when I became a new mother, I had no idea the kind of joy that watching my baby would bring me every single day. There were many things that I had to learn since this was my first baby and I paid very close attention to him and learned what his needs were. Unfortunately, my son had very bad Colic as an infant so it sometimes became increasingly difficult to put him to sleep and to feed him because of the discomfort that it caused him. In order to make his bedtime more comfortable for him, I decided to implement a ritual that I adhered to every evening. I figured if he had some consistency and if I did some special things with him, he would feel soothed enough to be able to sleep despite his Colic. So every night I bathed him, massaged his whole body with baby lotion before putting on his pamper, and I played classical music. For some … [Read more...]
