Star Wars: The Force Awakens Hand Puppets #FandangoFamily @Fandango #Giveaway #Ad

Although I have always been a movie buff, it takes a special film to get me really excited and make me want to go see it on its opening weekend.  Star Wars: The Force Awakens has me literally on the edge of my seat in anticipation.  So much so, that I have already purchased tickets in advance for my entire family the weekend that it debuts in theaters in December.  Let me tell you, that is the first time that I have bought movie tickets that far in advance!     This movie is special for me because of the nostalgia involved in watching the original Star Wars movies when I was a kid with my siblings.  I have nothing but great memories of the three of us being glued to the big screen watching some of our favorite characters like Han Solo, Princess Leah, Yoda and Chewbacca on their intergalactic adventures.       In this continuation of the epic space opera saga, a downed stormtrooper goes on a journey reconnecting him with … [Read more...]

Take An Intergalactic Road Trip With Fandango! #FandangoFamily @Fandango #Partner

As a member of the Fandango Family, we have the opportunity to watch awesome movies together all of the time.  It's so easy to watch trailers, read reviews, find movie show times, and buy movie tickets in advance.     Let me tell you, my son is so excited about the premiere of the Dreamworks new animated feature Home this Friday, March 27th.  We had the chance to watch the trailer for it the last time we went to the movies and he immediately turned to me and said, "Mommy, I want to see that movie!"      I have to admit, watching the unlikely friendship blossom between the human girl, Tip and the banished Boov, Oh,  really warmed my heart too.  Their adventures as Oh searches for a new place to live promises to make for a perfect family film.  I also love that it teaches our sons lessons about tolerance and accepting others for who they are.     To celebrate this interplanetary connection, I am going to share a delicious cookie recipe with all of you.  After all, what could be … [Read more...]

Making Family Memories With Fandango! #FandangoFamily @Fandango #Sponsored

Going to the movies as a family is something that we love to do.  Not only are we all huge movie buffs, but we also love to spend time together making memories.  Recently, we planned one of these treasured outings to see Big Hero 6 with the kids.  My husband and I knew that this would be the perfect film to go see with our boys because it features a lovable robot named Baymax that performs some heroic acts with his group of friends.     One of my favorite things is seeing my sons' reactions when we are watching movies.  During Big Hero 6, they were sitting up on the edge of their seats as Hiro Hamada and Baymax band together with their techie friends to save San Fransokyo from the evil plot that threatens the entire city and its inhabitants.     I especially loved the messages of friendship that the film portrayed.  After all, Baymax was designed to take care of people and he never faltered from his responsibilities as a friend and protector.  He immediately became my sons' … [Read more...]
