My boys and I love to go to the movies together when my husband is working on Saturdays. One of our all-time favorite animated films was Despicable Me and we really enjoyed going to see it together at our favorite movie theater. That is why we were thrilled when we found out that Despicable Me 2 was coming to the big screen! We made plans to go see it over and over but it seems that life had another plan and we kept having to postpone our movie date. To celebrate the release of the animated film Despicable Me 2, which debuts in theaters on July 3, 2013, Chef Isa Souza has created the "Cinco de Minion" salsa recipe. “Cinco de Minion" salsa recipe: Ingredients: 3 yellow bell peppers (2 chopped and reserve the 3rd to serve) 1 small onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, diced 2 tablespoons of sour cream 2 teaspoons of salt 3 tablespoons of olive oil ½ teaspoon of ground cumin ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper Preparation: Heat a medium-sized pan at high temperature.
