As a longtime resident of New York City, I often head to Manhattan to attend special events or view shows. Us local peeps refer to it as "Downtown" and we love bragging about how we have the coolest city on the planet. The only problem is that, when you gotta go, you gotta go. There is nothing worse than not being able to find a bathroom in the city! Many businesses post signs stating that their bathrooms are only for paying customers. After all, who could blame them when thousands of people pass by their storefronts every single day and opening their bathrooms up to the public could quite possibly send them down the proverbial creek without a paddle or some Charmin toilet paper! So, when visiting New York City for the day you sometimes have to get creative when it comes to copping a squat. Most people will just bite the bullet and purchase something at whatever store they are close to in order to gain access to their bathroom facilities. Other people will take … [Read more...]
How Do You Position Your Charmin Roll? #EnjoyTheGo @Charmin #Ad
The end of September marks the unofficial end of summer in many places throughout the country. In our home, that means that my husband and son mark the start of their favorite time of the year, football season! They turn our home into a virtual end zone and spend hours going back and forth about which teams are their favorites and make predictions about who will make it to the big game. Sometimes, their debates include discussions about the "Over or under" controversy. In this house we hang with Charmin and all agree on that, however, our opinions differ when it comes to how we hang! Hubby and I always hang our Charmin Ultra Soft over because we feel that it allows us to get a better grab on the end of the paper and come through with a clutch performance. Our boys, on the other hand, couldn't care less whether the TP is over or under. Since they always grab more toilet paper than they need, it ends up hanging … [Read more...]
The Fold Versus Sprunch Debate Continues! #TweetFromTheSeat @Charmin #Ad
It's pretty common for things to get a little zany around here during the holidays. My husband and I feel like there just isn't enough time in the day to get all of the preparations and plan festivities while working full-time and running around with our boys. Every year, we find something to debate back and forth about in order to have some fun and tease each other as we run around trying to get everything ready. This year, we are back to disagreeing about the proper way to handle toilet paper when you are taking care of your business. Yes, I know, this is a comical topic of conversation but that is what married people who have been together almost seventeen years do, talk about anything and everything. In our case, since he has always been a folder and I have always been a spruncher, this is not the first time that this subject has come up. I can still remember it like it was just yesterday, that fateful moment when I … [Read more...]
Men’s Bathroom Etiquette, According To Hubby! #EnjoyTheGo @Charmin #Ad
Last weekend, my husband and I took our boys out to dinner. Whenever we go out to eat, Hubby always takes our sons to the men's bathroom with him when they have to go. We are definitely helicopter parents and we worry about them being alone with strangers in public bathrooms, but I digress. Once they returned to the table, my husband proceeded to tell me that a guy in it had broken "Guy Code" when it comes to bathroom etiquette. Now, let me tell you, I had no idea that there are so many rules for how guys are supposed to behave in the men's bathroom. According to my husband, everyone knows that you are supposed to skip the urinal next to a guy who is already using one. It seems the offensive guy in the bathroom had failed to do this and posted up in the next urinal. This whole rule was news to me because I thought guys basically had no rules for bathroom use. Apparently, you are not supposed to have any physical … [Read more...]
Transport Yourself To A Relaxing Place! #TuiteaDesdeElTrono @CharminLatino #Ad
*This is part of a sponsored campaign with Charmin and Latina Mom Bloggers. However, all opinions expressed are my own. I consider the bathroom one of the most important rooms in our home. Not only do we all spend a lot of time in there, but it is probably the only place where I can manage to get a few minutes to myself once in a while. Lately, I have been feeling like it needed a few extra touches to make it a more relaxing place. I decided that it would definitely benefit from a Chamomile Makeover! When I found out that America's most popular toilet paper for more than 25 years was launching new Charmin plus the scent of Chamomile I knew that this was exactly what I was looking for to make my bathroom experience a little more special! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the benefits of scented tissue, the way it works is that ach roll has the scent of chamomile added to the tube. It smells so good that you experience a soothing moment that tantalizes all … [Read more...]

Cleaning The Toilet Is Not A Chore Anymore! @ScrubbingBubble #ScrubbingBubbles #Giveaway #Ad
*I participated in this campaign on behalf of SC Johnson. I received a promotional item to facilitate this review and as a thank you item for participating. All opinions are my own. I love having a clean bathroom but I detest cleaning the toilet. With a house full of my husband and two sons, I constantly have to clean it and make sure their "misses" don't make a big mess. Normally, I do a big bathroom cleaning about twice per week and I spot clean in between to maintain its cleanliness. I've been using Scrubbing Bubbles for years but I recently came across one of their new products that is going to make my life a whole lot easier. The Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Starter Kit and Caddy allow me to keep the toilet clean and disinfected without even having to use my hands. Its new and improved formula eliminates odors, removes limescale and cleans under the rim and below the water. The system features two types of cleaning pads that allow you to really scrub or do … [Read more...]
Grout Got You Down? #PurexInsiders
*This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Soft Scrub as a Purex Insider. All opinions are 100% mine. I can't stand a dirty bathroom and, as a result, I find myself constantly cleaning it so that it is sanitary for my family. Since it's probably the most used room in the house, it definitely gets dirty quickly and it's important to keep up with cleaning grout, mold and mildew. New Soft Scrub Mold and Mildew Stain Remover comes in a gentle solution that will tackle all of the mold and mildew stains in your home. It is a a spray gel that has the unique ability to be extra tough on stains while, at the same time, gentle on all of your surfaces. It's different from other spray and bleach cleaners because it does not permeate your home with harmful bleach vapors. Since it is a thick gel, it clings to your bathroom surfaces and penetrates tough stains without filling it up with fumes or clogging the air with overspray. I love that it is multi-purpose and … [Read more...]
