Spend A Fuller Night In! #StreamTeam @Netflix #Ad

When it comes to family night in our home, we love to cuddle together in the living room or in my king-sized bed and watch our favorite movies and shows on Netflix.  My husband and I have grown tired of some of the programming on cable and network television because they often contain subject matter that is not always appropriate for younger audiences.  This is not a concern that we have when we watch Netflix because they offer such a wonderful variety of family-friendly entertainment for us to watch.     Growing up, I loved watching Full House because the Tanners were such a loving family and they always had each other's backs whenever one of them had a problem.  That's why I'm so excited to see Kimmy, Stephanie and DJ all grown up and with their own kids on the recent launch of Fuller House.  Although I figured my boys would love meeting this family as much as I loved them when I was a girl, even I wasn't prepared for them to love the … [Read more...]

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Hand Puppets #FandangoFamily @Fandango #Giveaway #Ad

Although I have always been a movie buff, it takes a special film to get me really excited and make me want to go see it on its opening weekend.  Star Wars: The Force Awakens has me literally on the edge of my seat in anticipation.  So much so, that I have already purchased tickets in advance for my entire family the weekend that it debuts in theaters in December.  Let me tell you, that is the first time that I have bought movie tickets that far in advance!     This movie is special for me because of the nostalgia involved in watching the original Star Wars movies when I was a kid with my siblings.  I have nothing but great memories of the three of us being glued to the big screen watching some of our favorite characters like Han Solo, Princess Leah, Yoda and Chewbacca on their intergalactic adventures.       In this continuation of the epic space opera saga, a downed stormtrooper goes on a journey reconnecting him with … [Read more...]

Give Your Kids A Glimpse Into Your Childhood! #StreamTeam @Netflix #Partner

One of my favorite things to do is listen to music and watch shows with my sons that I used to enjoy when I was a kid.  There is just something magical about bridging the gap between your own childhood and your children's childhoods by connecting through these "blasts from the past."  It's a great way to let them know that you weren't always an adult and you weren't always their parent.  Also, it allows you to create memories with them that will last a lifetime.     My siblings and I used to lay on a blanket on the floor and watch Inspector Gadget while munching on our favorite snacks.  It was so much fun to say, "Go, Go, Gadget, Go!"  These special moments allowed us to bond with one another and I love now having the opportunity to watch Inspector Gadget with my boys on Netflix.  They enjoy all of his antics and adventures as much as I did when I was a little girl.     You guys can create these precious memories with your children as well.  Netflix has an entire list of of … [Read more...]

Why Do I Love Snoopy And The Peanuts Gang So Much? @Snoopy #PeanutsMovie #Giveaway #Partner

When I was seven years old, my parents left Spain to come to the United States in search of a better life.  They did not have enough money to come here with all of their children so they left my sister and I with our grandparents while they found a place to live and secured jobs.  I can still remember laying awake every evening with my mother's necklace clutched between my fingers wondering when we would once again be reunited.     A year passed and our grandparents finally told us that our parents would be sending for us to travel to the United States.  It was a bitter-sweet moment because, while I was excited to be together with my parents again, I knew that I would be a whole continent away from my grandmother and grandfather.  After a few weeks passed, we boarded a flight to America full of excitement and expectations about what this journey would bring.     Once we arrived, our accommodations weren't as luxurious as we had expected.  My father was working in a … [Read more...]
