Easter

The Easter Beagle made his television debut on April 9, 1974, when CBS first aired It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown. At that time, it was the 12th animated special to be based on the Peanuts comic strip, and the fourth to be connected with a holiday, along with A Charlie Brown Christmas, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Let’s Discuss:  What special plans do you have for your family this Easter weekend?

*Please note that due to a limited amount of Charlie Brown and Lucy FunkoPop! collectibles, we are unable to guarantee a specific character at this time, as they will be chosen at random.

Mine is of my grandmother hiding eggs and baskets for me and my sister in her house and her yard. She always had the best hiding places!

  3. Best Easter memory has to be my daughter’s first Easter egg hunt. Her basket was as big as she was!

  4. Michelle C says

I have wonderful memories of egg hunts at my great grandmother’s house when i was a young child. There was lots of cousins and a huge meal.

  5. My favorite Easter memory is when I was a kid and my parents would hide plastic eggs in our back and front yard. They had coins in them. It was fun, because it was the thrill of finding them and having more than my sister.

    Spending Easters with my grandmother.

I miss spending Easters with my grandmother. We would dress up in our Easter dresses, receive Easter baskets, and have big meals with family. Now, that my family is mostly deceased, I realize how truly special those Easters were.

My favorite Easter memory was the year I made communion. After communion, we all went up to my grandparents land at the lake and had a big Easter party with the best egg hunt ever. I think this memory is really special to me this year because my grandparents are gone now and this year my daughter is making her communion at Easter.

  9. My favorite Easter memories from when I was young are going to the town Easter Egg hunts. I remember getting to the park and looking at all eggs and planning which direction to run. There were always eggs with hidden numbers in them for special bigger prizes.

  10. When I was a kid, my mom always made sure my sister and I had new outfits for Easter, even though money was very tight. I remember one year we had beautiful hats and white gloves, and I felt so special in my fancy clothes.

  11. I don’t remember a specific Easter memory from my childhood – just my purple Easter bunny basket. I am loving watching my own kiddos create memories – we do an Easter egg hunt each year.

  12. When I was growing up, Easter was considered a very serious holiday and it was just about going to church. I never received chocolates or painted Easter eggs. When I was in college, my mother remarried and my stepdad was a fun guy. He gave me a chocolate bunny for Easter and it was the first time I had ever seen the fun of Easter. I’ll always remember it. Now with my kids we always have an Easter egg hunt and they get Easter baskets with candy and gifts. They look forward to Easter.

  13. Oh my favorite Easter memory was years ago when I was little, I remember Easter came earlier one year and we had tons of snow! We did an Easter egg hunt in the snow and had so much fun!

  14. My favorite memory was trying to find my basket in the morning because my mom used to hide it. We also used to go to church and spend time with family. I especially enjoyed spending time with my grandmother.

  15. Shakeia Rieux says

My favorite memory was in 2013 when my nieces and I were dyeing the eggs and decorated them, we had a lot of fun.

  16. Gabrielly says

My favorite Easter memory is our family lunches.

  17. Charlene S. says

I loved getting a new dress and shoes for Easter. Going to church with my family & having a great meal together.

  18. The only think excites me after Christmas is Easter party and celebration. It is too much fun for kids and parents.
