When I was a kid, I don’t recall going to the dentist very often and I’m sure it had a lot to do with my parents’ poor economic situation.  Since having my own children, I have made their oral health habits a priority because I know how important it is to take care of one’s teeth and breath.

Listerine has a complete line of oral care products that do a great job of promoting oral health and that our family really loves.  The Listerine Smart Rinse Anticavity rinse has been amazing in helping my husband and I to encourage our boys to gargle with it daily.  They love that it tastes great and we love that it helps prevent cavities and it removes food particles that brushing alone may miss.

My husband loves the Listerine Brand Floss Collection.  He uses the Ultraclean Access Flosser to reach his back teeth.  Even I’m impressed with how easy it is to floss with its long, ergonomic handle and non-slip grip.  Along with Listerine PocketPaks these oral care products not only freshen our breath but they also kill 99% of the germs that cause bad breath.

We have even begun to teach our sons how to floss and I have noticed a big difference in how clean their teeth are.  I even carry the Cool Mint Floss in my purse so I can floss at work after eating lunch.

  1. We use Listerine Smart Rinse, too. I love that it helps my boys get those hard to reach spots between their teeth nice and clean!

  2. Flossing is like pulling teeth in my house (pun intended). My son is 6 but I have to supervise his brushing to be sure he does it properly! Going to check out the mouth rinse for him!

  3. themommyfiles says

Listerine is a great product! My family uses the mouthwash on a regular basis.

  4. Jennifer Williams says

I will have to check out the rinse again for my youngest. He might actually use it because it has the Avenegers on the label.

  5. I’m a stickler for instilling good oral health habits. So important to your overall health!

  6. I had no idea that Listerine made so many different products. I will definitely have to pay more attention next time I go to shop for oral products!

  7. I didn’t realise Listerine did so many products, it is so cool they make sure their is something for everyone.

  8. I’m such a stickler for good oral hygiene. Still working on it with my son who when not supervised is in and out of the bathroom in 15 seconds when it comes to brushing his teeth!

  9. Haha that’s a great shot with the floss! I didn’t know they made floss too.

  10. Rebecca Bryant says

My son is big on oral hygiene. He freaks when someone doesn’t floss or brush.

  11. Liz @ A Nut in a Nutshell says

I floss a couple times a day because I have braces and things get stuck in there. But normally, I’m a floss at night, brush many times kinda girl. I can’t do Listerine right now either because it will stain the aligners. I miss it though!

  12. Love the Avengers green Listerine! I hadn’t seen this yet in the store.

  13. We love Listerine in our family. It was a lifesaver when the kids had braces.

  14. Oral health is so important. I was a product of the 50s and 60s and although I saw a dentist for school check ups and issues, I can’t say I had great dental care. It was just the way it was back then and genetically, I was not blessed with strong teeth nor were my siblings.

My sons had the advantage of fluoride and regular dental visits and teeth cleaning. They also used and still use Listerine on a daily basis. Neither one of them have a cavity and they are adults in their late 20s and early 30s.

  15. Lois Alter Mark says

We’ve always been a Listerine family and I think it’s great that they products specially geared toward kids. So important.

  16. We use Listerine at home. I think adults should have superheroes on our bottles, too 😛

  17. I like Listerine products for myself and have yet to buy them for my kids. I am going to though because I trust Listerine for my own oral health so I will for sure for my kids.

  18. They brush twice a day. We however need to get into a better flossing habit, we are working on it. 🙂

  19. Looks like fun. I like how the characters get the kids excited to be healthy.

  20. Melissa Vera says

We love Listerine products in our house. They are one of few productss that we all can agree on.

  21. paulaschuck says

We use that Smart Rinse product in our home. The youngest loves it because it tells her where she needs to brush harder.

  22. Ann Bacciaglia says

We have always used Listerine products. I like that they have kids products now.

  23. We love listerine! I am glad they have kids products too.

  24. Listerine is the only brand of mouth wash we buy. I also make sure my kids brush when they get up and before they go to bed and we also do our twice a year dental visits.

  25. Meagan Bailiff says

i always make sure my daughter brushes, rinses, and flosses every day.

  26. Jocelyn McGaffic says

Brushing twice a day is a must. My son is getting “Shark teeth” with his adult growing behind the baby tooth. We’ve been taking extra care to clean between the two.

  27. I have to brush my son’s teeth still … he’ll be 8 next week. But I had started letting him brush in the mornings and had suspicions he wasn’t doing very well with it. Sure enough, his last visit he has a small cavity in a permanent back tooth! 🙁
