Being a parent in modern times can be very challenging.  Aside from the fact that kids these days have access to almost unlimited amounts of technology and information, they are just a lot more savvy than we were when we were little.  My husband and I are trying to make sure that both of our boys enjoy their childhood for as long as possible.  After all, I remind my kids every day that being an adult is certainly not all it’s cracked up to be.

Aside from making sure that they maintain their innocence for a while,  we also want to make sure that they contribute to making the world a softer place to live in for themselves and for those around them.  In order to do that, we have very specific expectations of them for how they treat each other as well as how they treat others.

Here are some of the ways that we are making the world a softer place through communication:

  • Always be polite and use good manners like saying “Please” and “Thank You.”
  • Treat others the way that you would like to be treated.
  • Ask permission when  you want to borrow someone else’s property.
  • Communicate in a positive way even when you are upset or angry.
  • No name-calling because words hurt.

Can you believe that Snuggle Bear is reaching his big 30th birthday?  Yes, for 30 years, Snuggle Bear has warmed the hearts of millions of families.  Additionally, its fabric softeners have helped to make the world a softer place for years!  They have provided better softness, better freshness, reduced wrinkles, and reduced static cling in even some of the harshest and stiffest fabrics.
