I was very excited about the toys that are being included in the prize pack because I have trusted Fisher-Price® since my boys were little to provide educational products that are geared towards the learning needs of younger children.  Believe me, as an educator, purchasing toys that were not only entertaining but engaging and educational has always been a priority of mine.

  1. I usually just go with whatever they like at the time. This past year, their joint party was a Pokemon theme.

  2. I usually go with Texan traditions like a pinata, lots of food, and an emphasis on everyone feeling welcome. My son’s birthday isn’t for months, but he is already asking me to plan it. lol.

  3. Now that my daughter is a tween never know until a few weeks before my daughter’s birthday. It was so much easier when they are toddlers/elementary school age – you just go with what they are into.

  4. How adorable! My kids are older now but when they were younger we always had a big birthday bash for them. now its a sleepover and movies.

  5. Now that they’re a little bit older, our inspirations have to come from them. Gone are the days of super hero or princess parties – now it’s all about how many boys can they invite!

  6. My children are all grown and having kids of their own. We are getting twins soon so we will be starting the whole Fisher-Price stages again TWICE!!!!

  7. I will have to refer to this before my little guys next birthday. I am always looking for new birthday ideas.

  8. That is such a fun looking set.. my kids are older now, but they would have loved to play with this..

  9. I love those photos. Pinterest is my party inspiration resource.

  14. Liz @ A Nut in a Nutshell says

I used to go to magazines, and I still do refer to them a lot. But Pinterest is just faster and easier.

  15. Amber Nelson says

Honestly I do a lot of looking on Pinterest. There are alwaYS such unique ideas on there.

  17. That is such an adorable theme. Thank you for letting me know of this cute resource.

  18. OMG! They truly think of everything. How beautiful! I like how fisher price used their colors but were still able to make the items in the photo feminine.

  20. We’ve got tons of Fisher Price toys at school…donated or bought. We will always continue to use this brand as they never disappoint. The kids love them.

  21. Ashley Bunker says

I usually find inspiration by asking my children what they want for their party. Then, to get ideas I just google them and visit web sites.

  22. I wouldn’t have any idea where to start planning a party – honestly I don’t even know what I want to do – pinterest seems to have great ideas sometimes though. x

  23. I always loved Fisher Price as a kid. Look like some great ideas here.

  24. Fisher Price was a huge favorite in our house when my son was little. When I plan parties, I usually just ask my son what theme he wants. When he was little, though, I looked through catalogs for inspiration.

  25. Melissa Vera says

I find inspiration using Pinterest . I find tons of great ideas to expand on there.

  26. Veronica Solomon says

Oh my! My kids are 17 and 12 and no longer want parties. They ask for money. Back in the day I would always let them choose what they want

  27. My daughter loved Fisher-Price toys when she was smaller. I usually get inspiration by the things she likes. Last year it was Mickey Mouse, this year it will be Peppa Pig 🙂

  28. Pinterest. No but really, I usually find the inspiration for my children’s parties based on what they are really into at the time. Case in point: My son is into sports, this year will be a sports themed party. My daughter is into art, she’s creating some art for her party. Fun stuff like that. 🙂 Fisher price rocks, I’ve always loved the brand and it’s been a favorite in our house for a decade now. I hope to continue the trend with my beautiful 8 week old baby girl and my 15 month old son. 🙂
