Anyone who has visited my household recently knows that we have been rooting for our favorite soccer teams as they all battle to be number one in the world. Sadly, our two top teams are now out of the competition but that hasn’t stopped us from enjoying the remaining games and taking advantage of spending some quality time together as a family.
This year, Orgullosa is rewarding diehard soccer fans with an awesome giveaway where you all have a chance to win some huge prizes! By uploading a photo that demonstrates the passion and pride that you have for your favorite teams and colors, you will be eligible to win a TV, XBOX1, sound system and lots of P&G products!
Some of my favorite memories of watching soccer with my family when I was a kid in Spain are of sitting around the living room with my parents and grandparents and enjoying some delicious food while cheering on our team at the top of our lungs. The excitement was palpable in the room every time our team scored a goal or made a great play. I can also remember the feeling of pride that I felt at being part of our own team which was our family.
You can now celebrate with your own family by entering the My House Is My Stadium Sweepstakes on the Orgullosa Facebook Page. It’s a great way to continue the fun and excitement about fútbol right in the comfort of your own home. Show how Orgullosa, or proud, you are of your colors!
Let’s Discuss: What sport does your family enjoy cheering on at home and how do you show your team spirit?

We really only get into football in our house, but every Sunday (or Monday night) we dress up in our Patriots gear, load up on snacks and cheer our boys on!!
Sadly, it’s just my husband cheering on sports! We have a houseful of girls… BUT his favorite is baseball and then football.
Soccer is so fun to watch! I love it. Amber N
We watch some football in our house, but my Hubs can take it or leave it. I am kind of happy for that…. Although.. there are times when he does have to watch the football game.
I’m really having great fun watching the soccer frenzy right now. We get a little rowdy over college basketball and have great fun watching the games.
Watching sports with family is the best. Love the energy in the room!
I love that your watching sports can bring back great memories. We do not watch sports in our house though we do play them. We cheer each other on (and of course try to beat each other!).
So far we my son like soccer and basketball. But he prefers to play more then watch it on TV. Maybe when he’s older. LOL
Our family get sucked in to sport so much and its always a great time to have lots of fun with different snacks.I am kinda bored of soccer now,2 of our teams are out now but 1 is still in :).
Looks like a fun thing to take part in! We are totally not sports people 🙁 I know, party poopers!!! 🙂
We like cheering on baseball and soccer! Thanks for sharing this info!
As Latin Americans, my parents are going nuts over the World Cup. I’m quite indifferent myself but I placed a bet anyway. 🙂
My family has always been big on cheering on football. My daughter’s husband’s family always cheers on the Cards- they are huge baseball fans.
We have been cheering for many different sports now: football, hockey, baseball & now soccer. We wear our jerseys & watch the game either live or on TV 🙂
I can imagine what the World Cup season is like in Spain! Us Jamaicans get so excited and we’ve only made it to the WC once
We cheer for college football. Specifically Notre Dame! I think gathering around and watching a game with family while sharing yummy food is a fun tradition no matter what sport you are rooting for!
world cup is big in our house now since my daughter is a soccer player.
We don’t really watch sports at my house. I watched a World Cup game but just couldn’t get into it.
Depending on the season, we watch Football, Nascar and other racing and this year especially, we were drawn into Futbol! We watch the games on TV, sometimes wear Jersey’s or team colors and root our team on.
Football is the sport we probably enjoy watching the most although basketball and baseball are close. We Football Sunday parties every week and we have a friendly family/friend pool to make it a little more fun.
Heheh When it comes to sports, I think soccer is the only one I can watch on tv for any length of time. The world cup is so exciting! My son is old enough this year to get it a bit.
We’re not very sports-minded over here, I’m afraid. I like a little college football but that’s about it.
I admit to being partial to football, and baseball if I’m AT the stadium – but I do love how sports can be great experiences as a family!
I have to admit we aren’t a sporty family at all! We get talking more about science programmes – I guess as long as everyone has their ‘thing’ it doesn’t matter what it is 🙂 x
My husband is a soccer nut. Or a futbol nut, I should say. 😉
I love “real” football, haha – Anyway, my son just started soccer – he’s 4 and started getting really interested when my husband was watching worldcup every night.
my husband really likes football and sometimes we help cheer on his favorite team from home
We are sports-free in our home, but I occasionally will root for the home team during American football season. I do like soccer because they are not all trying to kill each other. Just a ball and a bunch of guys. Thanks for sharing!
the family is a huge fan of basketball and soccer. we like to wear our team jerseys and celebrate with our team does well.
