This afternoon, I was having a conversation with a colleague at work about how, as I am getting older, my priorities have changed significantly. Now that I am a mother and a wife, it is clear to anyone who is in my life that my family is the most important thing in my life. I treasure and value every single opportunity that I have to spend quality time with them and those instances are the moments when I am the most happy.
During these last couple of months, we have had some amazing experiences together and even spent some time snow tubing with the kids. Unfortunately, due to the freezing temperatures and the barrage of snowstorms that New York City has had this winter, being outdoors has wreaked havoc on all of our skin. We have all complained of having dry, chapped skin due to being exposed to the elements every time we went out as a family.
The day we took our boys snow tubing, we knew that this day would become one of those treasured family moments. Before heading out to create those magical winter wonderland family memories, my husband and I used LUBRIDERM® to keep our family’s skin healthy and moisturized despite the biting cold weather. We find that using their Daily Moisture Lotion and their Daily Moisture Lotion with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 is the perfect combination of hydration and protection for our family’s skin.
The Daily Moisture with SPF 15 lotion contains a powerful two-in-one moisturizer and sunscreen that hydrates skin with essential moisturizing ingredients while, at the same time, providing broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection with SPF 15. The Daily Moisture lotion comes in a lightweight formula, containing vitamin B5, that leaves all our skin silky and smooth. These are very important when it comes to our boys’ skin because we want to protect them from the harmful sun’s rays and we also want their skin to feel soft and comfortable.
Making sure that my family’s skin is healthy and moisturized allows all of us to feel comfortable while we make those priceless family memories that I know our children will treasure for the rest of their lives. As you can see, we had an amazing time snow tubing and our boys spent the entire day frolicking in the snow. Thanks to LUBRIDERM®, not only did our skin look great while we were out in the snow all day enjoying family moments, but we also felt great and comfortable in our own skin!
Let’s Discuss: How do you protect your family’s skin when you are enjoying family moments outdoors during the winter?

I’m with you – moisturizer is SO key in the winter. You have pretty much the same weather I have here in Massachusetts and our skin suffers in the winter.
I keep a BIG bottle of Lubriderm in the guest bathroom and use it all of the time for my arms and elbows!! I think this lotion works well in the winter, and not all lotions do. Love the tubing, that’s our fave winter sport. 🙂
I love Lubriderm. I have excessively dry skin due to a thyroid condition and I use lotion religiously. My skin gets so dry it’s shocking. Lubriderm is a great option since I avoid as many chemicals and fragrances as I can. It was also my grandma’s favorite and using it reminds me of her.
We just moved to the snow and hopefully will have some of this fun family time once we are completely settled. We did already stock up on Lubriderm, I used it before we moved in sunny Florida and will continue to use it here as it works without the burn you get when your skin is really chapped.
Lubriderm is a staple in our household as well. We are all sensitive skinned, and Lubriderm is very sensitive-skin friendly.
Looks like a great product. I usually use baby oil for my girls. I like the smell and it is light on the skin.
I put lotion on to keep my families skin comfortable during the winter months. I use whatever I have on hand. However I noticed that not all lotions work the same. I do love lubiderm, my sons pediatrician actually gave us some samples and I love it.
I love lubriderm! My favorite is the one with sunscreen. I wish they’d bump it up to SPF 30, though. In the winter, I use the advanced. It works so well.
Well, we live in Florida, so there’s not too much “winter” but both of us have very fair and dry skin, so I think we have several bottles of Lubriderm at the house and I know I have one at my office, too!
That is one of the most moisturizing lotions available. I love it!
That is a really good product for the skin. I have used it a few times
This would be perfect for my children’s skin and my husbands too. It has been so cold here lately!
Lubriderm is great for my dry skin in the winter! I love it.
I love the ones with the sunscreen. My kids are so fair I feel like I need to protect them all year round!
Lubriderm has long been a favorite lotion of mine. I always make sure whatever lotion my family uses, that it has sunscreen in it. That goes for any season, not just summer.
Lubriderm is an amazing product! When these cold and windy winters hit, chapped hands are definitely a problem! We use this stuff all the time!
We have Lubriderm on your counter at all times. We get such dry skin that this is a lifesaver!!
I don’t think that product is available in our country, maybe because we don’t get snow. I’m envious of your fun snow day though!
Lotion, Lotion, Lotion… That’s how we keep our skin hydrated! I love Lubriderm!
It looks like you had so much fun with your family. My family uses lubriderm for dry skin…it is a lifesaver!
Looks like you had a great time with your family! Lubriderm is great, I use it for my dry skin.
As promised, I came back to leave feedback on your post. Disqus was spinning out yesterday. I love the treasured moments with your family and the pictures of the kids enjoying themselves. NY can be a harsh place to live so its a joy to read such heartwarming stories… Who Knew Maria, we are practically neighbors; I’m in Westchester County – right next door. As for Lubriderm, one of kids likes it a lot so we have some at home, it does moisturize the skin well. 🙂 Happy Weekend!
