Help Your Baby Get A Good Night’s Sleep! #WalgreensLatino #MiBebe @Walgreens #Ad

*This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Walgreens.  However, all opinions expressed are my own.

When I became a mother for the first time, I was really eager to learn everything that I possibly could about taking care of a baby.  As a result, I read as many books as I could and I researched everything from potty training to proper sterilization of baby bottles.

One of my favorite places to shop for baby items has always been Walgreens.  Their Well Beginnings line has just about anything you need for your baby including diapers, wipes, formula and more.  It is the perfect store for stocking up on all of the necessities that make your bebé and your familia more comfortable.

During my infinite quest for “Mommy knowledge” I found out that there were specific things that I could do to help my baby get a good night’s sleep.  After all, a happy sleeping baby means a happy new mommy that could get some sleep too.  That is when I devised the bedtime routine that I ended up using with both of my sons and use with my baby nephew these days too.

Here are the steps to helping your baby get a good night’s sleep:

  1. Bathe your baby with Well Beginnings Baby Wash and Baby Shampoo.  Both are tear-free and hypoallergenic so you know that they will gently cleanse your baby’s skin and hair.
  2. After drying your little one off, use Well Beginnings Baby Oil to massage and gently moisturize his soft skin.  Massaging babies helps to stimulate their senses and their muscles.
  3. My younger son had pretty bad cradle cap so I used baby oil gel to moisturize his scalp after bathing and help soothe his itchiness while he was sleeping.  Well Beginnings also offers a mild, no-mess gel for extra moisturizing.
  4. Having the right diaper makes all the difference in ensuring that your baby gets a good night’s sleep.  When dressing your baby in his pajamas you can also get Well Beginnings diapers for a great price and they do a great job of keeping babies dry all night.
  5. Lastly, play soothing classical music in the background as your sweet angel drifts off to sleep.  Studies show that listening to classical music helps develop a baby’s mind.

The great thing is that you don’t even have to spend a lot of money to develop this bedtime routine because Well Beginnings products are the same quality as other national brands, and cost less than leading brands.  Not only will they keep your baby healthy and happy, but they will also fit nicely into your family budget.

Once I got this system down-pat, my babies both got used to this pampering routine and would always sleep, well like babies!  I also enjoyed this special time in the evening because it allowed me to bond with my boys and have peaceful and quiet time to connect with them.  There is nothing better than that!  Walgreens. En la esquina de la felicidad y la salud!

Let’s Discuss:  What are some bedtime routine tips that helped you ensure that your baby got a good night’s sleep?

I was so excited when we got to our new hometown and I saw a Walgreens. I love their deals and yes we had many trips down the baby isle because they had prices you could not find anywhere else. I always loved the lavender baby wash to help relax the little one.

I agree I am so glad they make WellBeginings. I even am able to use Well Beginnings with my 6 year old. My 6 year old still wet’s the bed at night but is completely dry during the day, we have to get girls goodnights but goodnights are pricy. so I get the cheep Well Beginings they work just as well and are half the price. Then there’s lavender shampoo’s lotions and all kinds if stuff my 6 year old loves when we go down that isle at Wallgreens. I am so glad there’s a Wallgreens not too far away in Plainwell mi, it’s a close enough drive so I can get the things my daughter needs.

My 6 year old has leg pains and every night we use the wellbegings lotions to help work out the knots behind her legs.

  6. I’ve never tried WellBeginnings, but I must say, some of the best diaper deals I ever did was at Walgreens.

I shopped at Walgreen once in a while. I remember taking my baby a bath, clothe and swaddle them before going to sleep. They love to sleep that way.
