Don’t Let Anything Come Between You And Your Touch Screen! @URPowered #Ad

*I participated in a campaign on behalf of U|R® POWERED. I received a promotional item to facilitate this post and as a thank you item for participating.  All opinions are my own.

I never leave my house without my smartphone.  There are just too many things that I manage through my phone to ever be caught without it.  While I love having a touch screen that puts everything at my disposal with just a quick touch or a mere swipe of the hand, it’s hard to do so during the cold winter months when I have gloves on.

I had no idea, however, that U|R® POWERED created an innovative and invisible solution that enables you to operate touch screen devices with all five fingers without taking your gloves off!  The best part is that they have made these gloves to not only be functional but to also be stylish and fashionable.

The U|R® POWERED collection comes in a variety of styles, materials and colors for men and women.  Their connected accessories also include audio headwear; hats, headbands and earmuffs with built-in headphones that allow for simple audio integration.  Imagine being able to keep your ears nice and toasty while also listening to your favorite tunes or answering phone calls with the swipe of a finger!

I had the opportunity to review the Mila Tech Spandex Touch Screen Glove.  They boast a powered spandex palm and body and a detailed ruched back.  Upon trying them on, I loved how they fit and the fact that they weren’t thick and bulky.  Not only did they look great on me, but they also worked perfectly on my smartphone touch screen.  This has been especially helpful during this polar vortex that has descended upon New York City these past couple of weeks.

My husband is in love with the Calum Leather and Tech Stretch Touch Screen Glove.  I have to admit that I even liked their combination of leather and sheepskin with Microfur lining.  His hands are always cold and he really likes being able to maintain warm hands and be able to use his new phone too!

The U|R® POWERED collection is available for purchase at http://www.urpowered.com/ and leading retailers.  Make sure you check out them out soon so you don’t get left out in the cold!

Let’s Discuss:  What do you think about gloves that allow you to use your smartphone touch screen without having to take them off?

  1. I’ve had my eye on these for awhile now and I think after reading your review, they are a must have! Thanks for sharing!

  2. If I had a smartphone I would be buying a pair of those in a NY minute–it has been really cold here hasn’t it! Heck, a person could get frost bite by the time they dialed a phone number or got to the app they wanted!

  3. Liz @ A Nut in a Nutshell says

If they allow you the same amount of sensitivity and responsiveness, I’d be all for it. I live in the South though, so I hardly ever have to wear gloves. 😉

  4. Veronica Solomon says

We don’t need gloves here really in Houston. They look really stiff to me though

    • Actually, Veronica, that couldn’t be further from the truth. They are very flexible and comfortable. Even the leather that you see on my husband’s gloves is very stretchy. I’m not normally a big fan of wearing gloves but I really like these.

  5. I think that they are perfect, especially for bloggers. Must have!

  6. I actually have a pair of smart screen gloves (a different brand) and I think they are brilliant. For people like us who are attached at the hip to our phones and live in cold climates, I think it’s a must have product.

  7. Linda Kinsman says

These gloves are a life saver. I have a different brand of smart gloves and use them on cold days. I must admit- yours sound much warmer and of higher quality since they are leather with micro-fur lining.

  8. These gloves look like a perfect option for winter. I can see the value they possess and why they would be so helpful to you with your smart phone.

  9. Healy Harpster says

What a great product! Love that they have it for men and women. My husband has a Smartphone and getting a pair of gloves will be a good idea.

  10. Great products we need those here we had the old cotton touch screen gloves before but my hands still used to get cold so these would be a better idea.

  11. wow! How cool! I can’t tell you how many times this winter, I’ve pulled out my ipod to take a picture, only to miss the moment because of my gloves lol. These are so awesome!

  12. Yeah sounds like that is for me. Keeps my hands warm and can use the gadgets, awesome! Hm, got to check the price…:), thanks for sharing

  13. This comes really handy in the winter time. I have a type of gloves that are open at the finger tips to facilitate typing. But it kind of defeats the purpose in the coldest of weathers. What a great idea this is!

  14. Daisy Tremorev says

Those look really cool. I want them because I am addicted to my iPhone. 🙂

  15. Jennifer Williams says

All the gloves I have seen that work on your touch screens are so thin you might as well not wear any at all. I want these, they look warm.

  16. these look great will have to go check them out thank you fro sharing i woldn’t have known otherwise

  17. JadeLouise Designs says

I need those gloves!!! It is far too cold to be outside without gloves on. But then I can’t operate my smartphone! lol. I tried taking pictures of the kids the other day while they were sledding. Just the time it took me to unlock my phone and open my camera app, my fingers were frozen. These gloves would be awesome to have!

  18. Marielle A. Lord says

These gloves are so cool! I want a pair. It’s freezing up here and I tend no to pick up my phone when it rings for fear of getting froze bite lol

  19. amanda ripsam says

These gloves look a lot warmer then my current texting gloves I’d love to try them

  20. Joanna Sormunen says

The gloves look really good and warm. A really great idea! I would love to have them if I would live in a colder climate.

  21. Those gloves look very toasty and warm. I love your steering wheel cover btw.

  22. I actually tried using my phone with gloves before and it won’t work – now this is awesome!

  23. Teresa McCluskey says

I love the thought of gloves on and phone able 😀 I use to live up north these would have been fab. But here is Tx not needed

  24. I have touch screen gloves, but the problem is that they have thinner material at the index and thumb, so although they help, they still are not as warm as I would like. Are these like that? Do you need to have complete finger to glove contact for them to work? If these avoid those pitfalls, I would definitely be interested!

  25. Another thing I wish I had invented! Such a wonderful idea. Smart phones and cold weather can mix now!

  26. I don’t live in an area of the country where I need to where gloves. If I did, I would most likely give these a try. Seems like a great idea!

  27. I need a pair of these. I’m always having to pull my gloves off because I want to text and I can’t ever do it in the gloves I’m wearing. They do look rather nice too. Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to check them out and get myself a pair. 🙂
