One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to spend time with my family watching movies. There is just something about cuddling up on the couch with a warm throw and some popcorn and enjoying some holiday movies. It’s actually nice to have them from the reach of your home as you can enjoy it with friends and family – it creates personal bonding time too.
I didn’t realize that Movies on Demand released so many films as soon as they went to DVD. That’s pretty cool, especially with the rising cost of movie tickets! We love watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation; I’ve been watching it since way before it was age-appropriate for me to be seeing it. LOL
I would say our favorites are The Christmas Story, ELF, and The Grinch. We also enjoy the Santa Claus Films. We watch on demand for TV shows, I’ll have to check out the movies option as well.
Our favorites include It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol A Christmas Story, and Millions. Heartwarming holiday films are our go-to entertainment this time of year!

I love watching all of the classics with my son like Rudolf and Frosty. Such a great time of year!
Ya, that dang snow ruined my day trip to NYC last Sunday. I wanted to take the boys ice skating and to see the tree, but that didn’t happen….GRRRR.
Anyways, with that said, we spent the ENTIRE day curled up on the couch watching Christmas movies. We have Verizon Fios & their On Demand isn’t that great, so we did Netflix, DVD’s and whatever was on ABC Family.
I love to watch Elf with the kids and CHristmas Vacation with my friends.
If we lived in the US, I would for sure use this. The 3 year old this morning was desperate for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the TV and none was to be found. He did not want it on the iPad. First world toddler problems!
Home Alone is our family favorite, we watch the first and second one every year.
I like to watch It’s a wonderful life. My son likes to watch A Christmas Story and Elf.
