Become Your Own Boss And Change Your Life! #SomosAmway @AmwayUS #Giveaway #Ad

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Latina Bloggers Connect and Amway.

I have always wanted to be my own boss.  Ever since I was a child, I can remember being in awe of family members who owned their own businesses.  They always had the freedom to attend family events on a whim and generally seemed to be happy most of the time.  My Grandfather’s brother owned a motorcycle shop and dealership and I can recall all of the fun that us kids had pretend riding on all of the bikes in the showroom.  We never worried about getting in trouble because well, let’s face it, our Uncle was the boss and he would never get angry at us.

As I became an adult, my career path took me in the direction of education.  Although I never abandoned my dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur, I also had a desire to impart knowledge unto the youth so I put my business plans on hold while I pursued my degrees in education.  It wasn’t until I started blogging that I realized that my dreams of being my own boss were still attainable and that I would be able to bring them to fruition through my blog.

Becoming your own boss:

Since becoming a successful blogger, I have had the pleasure of interacting with other determined entrepreneurs and business owners.  As a matter of fact, one of my old students, who is now in her twenties, owns a successful Amway independent business owner.  I often marvel at all of the experiences that she has traveling the world in order to share her story with other aspiring young people who want to take control of their financial destiny.  Additionally, she has access to the full line of exclusive Amway products and they really seem to be great quality at affordable prices for today’s budget savvy families.  Check out the Amway sales force:

Becoming an Amway Independent Business Owner:

Individuals and couples who become Independent Business Owners (IBO) for Amway have the ability to create a family business that can be passed down from generation to generation.  Along with the perks that come from being your own boss, here are some of the other benefits of becoming an Amway IBO:

  • The ability to earn income that can supplement, replace, and even exceed your current income.
  • Being able to set your own flexible schedule and complete control over your business hours.
  • The opportunity to help others build successful businesses.
  • Attending educational and rewarding business conferences.
  • Experiencing the personal satisfaction at building a better financial future for you and your family.

What are you waiting for?

In business, the old saying, “The early bird catches the worm,” couldn’t be more true.  If you are ready to start your own journey as an entrepreneur, you can start your own Amway business risk-free and more easily than you could ever imagine.  Take advantage of this unlimited earning opportunity and never worry about running out of vacation days again!  After all, who is going to fire you since you are the boss?!?!

Let’s Discuss:  What would be some of the benefits of becoming your own boss?

  1. I would love to be my own boss, but I don’t know if I am ambitious enough. LOL. I tried selling Avon for a while and it was a lot more work chasing people down than I realized.

  2. I actually started my own bookkeeping service when I couldn’t take working for a boss anymore–it was successful for 10 years–then things got tough all over and I took a job–but still retained some of my clients–I am now semi retired and still have those clients! I had a friend who sold Amway and I know she loved it-at the time she was a sahm and they needed to supplement their income-this company was a perfect fit for her.

My Hubs and I were in business many years ago. If I were to start a business today, I would for sure have more money than I do now.

  4. A little extra money from a business would help me be a little more independent. It would be great to be your own boss.

  16. Jennifer Williams says

When I was growing up, I watched my father work really long hours and he passed away at a very young age from owning his own business. The only thing he ever wanted from me was if I was not a stay at home mom to NEVER work for myself. I do own two businesses but in different areas than what he did and the hours are much better. I love Amway, have been a fan for many years.

  17. Corinne Schmitt says

My best friend from high school is an Amway business owner, along with several other members of her family. They love it and have been successful with it.

I would one day like to run my own business. Direct selling however is not for me. One has to be very aggressive to succeed in Amway. I don’t think I am capable of that.

  30. Have heard of Amway before and actually have a few friends who are doing it. I don’t have the fortitude to do anything like this. I couldn’t even do Mary Kay. 🙂

  31. Being your own boss can be great, but sometimes that can also turn around and bite you, No direct sales for me,I couldn’t even do Avon..LOL

  32. I own two small businesses. They are quite a bit of work but I love being independent and working for myself. Amway makes really great products and I have heard people have success with selling it.

I love being my own boss with my blog. It’s come with so many great perks – like getting to meet other bloggers.

  37. I’ve been hearing about Amway a lot these days, maybe it’s time to take it a bit more seriously? Being my own boss would be amazing. I feel like I need something like this in my life because the military only pays so much and with a potential new baby making our total 4 I need something to help bring in some extra income.

  38. Starting a business would give me freedom to make my own decisions

  39. My husband and I did own our business, and the freedom of it was great! But it was also very stressful, especially in Ireland, where employees have such strong rights and privileges that it was extremely difficult to fire anybody who wasn’t doing their job. We closed the business last year and moved to the States. Owning a business now would change my life again in terms of the huge headache it can be!

  40. I work a very boring day job that I’ve kind of hit a dead end in. Starting my own business would just make my life happier, change up things for me, give me more drive.
