Bring On The Ugly Sweaters This Holiday Season! #HilariousHoliday @Target #Ad

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Social Chorus for Target. I received a gift card to facilitate a shopping trip and promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Everybody knows that the holidays are the perfect time to bring those ugly holiday sweaters out of the closet.  Although some might consider them to be a fashion faux pas, others like me, think that they are a great way to show your holiday sense of humor.  After all, if you can’t laugh at yourself then how will you get past all of the curveballs that life throws at you on a daily basis.

When I was little, my mother would always take advantage of the holidays to put matching ugly sweaters on my sister and I right around the holidays.  I never understood why she did this because we are not twins and I always hated having the same clothes on as my little sister.  Luckily for me, there wasn’t the abundance of technology and electronic devices back then to document these hideous outfits so there aren’t any photos that can be used against me as blackmail.

This holiday season, Target has created a full line of kitchy, fun ugly sweaters to get your whole family into the funny holiday spirit.  Their goal is to unite the family through laughter and humor and to remind us what the holiday season is really about.  The best part is that it is really easy nowadays to take and share photos of your loved ones wearing these hilarious sweaters so you will have lots of ammunition later on when you want to take full advantage of them.

Make sure you head into Target to pick out the perfect ugly holiday sweaters for you and your family.  They are sure to be a big hit at your family gatherings this season and will surely be the topic of much conversation, laughter, and wonderful memories that you will enjoy for years to come.

Let’s Discuss:  What are some of your legendary ugly holiday sweater experiences?

thanks for sharing, we are hosting a ugly sweater party this year 🙂

  3. I am so going to get some of these sweaters for the holidays that my boys and I can wear. I didn’t know target sold these I must go and get some I wanted to do a cute photo with the cheesy sweaters. Although I must admit they are adorable or its just me LOL

  4. I love sweaters but not so much the ugly sweater. I think it is fun these have really taken off the way they have and caused so much fun by the creative designs.

I have honestly never worn an ugly sweater.

  6. DarleneMAM says

I didn’t have time to shop the sweaters when I was in Target on Thursday night. Instead? I scored a huge TV, Dyson vac and Rachael Ray cookware. Not bad, but not an ugly sweater!! I love Target!

  7. I like my Christmas sweaters, but once my daughter’s best friend came over and borrowed one for an “Ugly Christmas Sweater Party!”

  8. Linda Kinsman says

I do my best to avoid ugly Christmas sweaters. I think my Aunts and other super seniors in my life tainted my view because they could rock the ugly sweaters all season long so I vowed never to wear anything that reminded me of them!

  9. I love sweaters even though we don’t get to wear them as much as I would love to here in Florida! The ugly ones are fun to wear!

  10. The sweater my sister made for me. She made it with love, but not good knitting.

  11. Laurajj Jacobson says

Oh these are so funny! A few years ago we had everyone wear one to our Christmas party for work, it was so funny to see what everyone found!
