Despicable Me 2 DVD Prize Pack #Giveaway! #DespicableMeDos #DM2DVD #Ad

*This post was written by me on behalf of Universal Studios Home Entertainment.  I received a DVD of the film to review.  All opinions are 100% mine.

My boys and I love to go to the movies together when my husband is working on Saturdays.  One of our all-time favorite animated films was Despicable Me and we really enjoyed going to see it together at our favorite movie theater.  That is why we were thrilled when we found out that Despicable Me 2 was coming to the big screen!

We made plans to go see it over and over but it seems that life had another plan and we kept having to postpone our movie date.  Since we never got to see it in the movies, we were very excited to have the opportunity to watch it together on DVD.  We knew that, if it was anything like the first movie, we would love the characters and all of their funny antics.

Gru, his adorable girls, and the mischievous Minions are back with a cast of unforgettable new characters in the blockbuster sequel to the worldwide phenomenon.  Just as Gru has given up being super-bad to be a super-dad, the Anti-Villain League recruits him to track down a new criminal mastermind and save the world.

Partnered with secret agent Lucy Wilde, Gru, along with the wildly unpredictable Minions, must figure out how to keep his cover while also keeping up with his duties as a father.  Let’s not forget that the Minions guarantee that we will be laughing non-stop with all of their silliness!

My seven-year old loved it so much that he can’t stop talking about it.  His favorite part was when El Macho turned the Minions into purple Minions.  He says that it was cool the way that they were just shaking and blowing raspberries with their tongues.  Also, his favorite character was Lucy Wilde because he really liked her lipstick taser.  I’m sure he has already recommended the movie to all of his friends in the second grade!
