Share What’s Good With Welch’s And You Could Win! #ShareWhatsGood @Welchs #Ad

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Recently, it has become more and more difficult to be able to spend quality time as a family due to my husband’s and my hectic work schedule.  Add to that the fact that my husband works nights and that I work days and the opposite hours make it even more tricky to plan things for us to do as a family.  As a result, we have had to get creative about making sure that we have that important time to spend together and to connect with one another.

My family and I spending some quality time out for a drive together.

Here are some tips that we have come up with to help “steal” some quality time as a family:

  • Watch a movie together at home.  It’s a great way to save money on skyrocketing movie theater prices and everyone can relax together in the comfort of home.
  • Take a drive with the family and head to a local park or recreation area.  We are lucky that we live right next to a huge park and nature preserve so we spend a lot of time there together.
  • Cook a family meal together.  We have found that spending some quality time preparing family meals together allows us to have some special time to discuss how our week is going and to bond.

Welch’s understands the importance of allowing for “kitchen table” moments where families can enjoy a special moment while simply drinking a glass of juice or enjoying a homemade sandwich.  To support families in enjoying these moments, they have launched a new movement called “Share what’s good™” where you’ll find a variety of great content from fun family ideas to delicious recipes.  You can even share photos of the every-day moments that you enjoy with your own family and see how other families are taking advantage of this precious time in their homes.

The best part is that Welch’s is even sponsoring a photo contest where, from 9/16 to 10/25, you can upload a photo of your favorite family moment for a chance to win $5,000!  Visit Sharewhatsgood.com to enter.

Make sure you post your  photos to Twitter and Instagram, using the #sharewhatsgood hashtag to enter for a chance to win the Share what’s good Photo Contest!
