Every single time my husband is in my car, he complains that I never keep any lotion in the glove compartment. You see, he has very dry skin and is used to having hand lotion in his own car readily available at his disposal. We have always trusted Johnson’s Baby with the care of our sons’ skins so I thought it would be the perfect moisturizer to use on my husband’s skin.
My husband has told me repeatedly that his dry skin issues are not just about dryness but that they also cause him discomfort that can only be alleviated when he hydrates his skin with moisturizing cream. This is the reason that Johnson’s immediately came to mind due to the fact that it has always been gentle enough for babies’ skins but is also strong enough to lock in moisture in adult skin.
When our oldest son was born, one of my fondest memories of his infancy was the bedtime routine that I used to have with him. I would bathe him every evening with Johnson’s Soothing Bedtime Wash and then moisturize his skin with Johnson’s Baby Intense Moisture Cream while classical music played in the background. I recall reading an article that stated that massaging a baby’s skin with moisturizing cream helped to stimulate their fine and gross motor skills. Additionally, the classical music was supposed to stimulate his brain and creativity.
I don’t know if the articles I read were any true but my son definitely responded favorably to having his full body massage and went to sleep peacefully every night. When my youngest son was born, we moisturized his skin after his bath with Johnson’s too. As you can see from the photo below, he wasn’t as happy about being bathed as his older brother was but he did enjoy his moisturizing massage afterwards.
My youngest son never really enjoyed his bath but he loved getting massaged afterwards with Johnson’s Baby.
Johnson’s Baby Intense Moisture Cream helps to relieve dryness and give babies and adults comfortable skin all day long. It has been clinically proven to seal in moisture for 24 hours and contains 2% dimethicone which helps to form a protective barrier on the skin, thereby locking in moisture. The best thing is that it is not just for babies so your entire family can enjoy soft and hydrated skin all day long!
Let’s Discuss: How do you keep your skin hydrated throughout the day?

I have always used Johnsons – after a bath or a show especially in the winter I use baby oil !

I love Johnson’s products: hydrating and nourishing for both me and my two children. My Scarlett used to love a little (amateur) baby massage with lotion after her bath as a baby – great bonding time for mummy & daughter xxx
I used Johnsons products when my Daughter was small many years ago. I bet the massage routine you did with your son helped him to sleep better.
My husband has very bad dry skin & moisturizes several times throughout the day.
I used Johnson products for my children as well and still will buy their products over other brands because I trust them.
Awe, that picture in the bath gives me flashbacks of bringing our son home and when we would use his little bathtub with Johnson’s products. They gave us Johnson & Johnson products at the hospital.
Such cute baby pictures! We used Johnson products with our children, too. Always had great results!
I still use a few Johnson & Johnson products now I find them so gentle where as quite often products can just be too harsh for your skin. x
My daughter hated baths too when she was really little!
Awww so adorable! My daughter wasn’t too fond of baths but Johnson’s Baby products really helped change that!
I always used Johnson and Johnson products on my children. I have also used them for myself. I terribly dry skin and have found that their products work great for me.
I always keep some kind of hand lotion in my vehicle. I used to use J&J when I had my daughter but haven’t really used their product in quite a while besides their soothing bath. With the increase of more all natural products I’ve been trying to find more of them.
I loved the Johnson & Johnson products for my kids when they were growing up. I still use them and I am like your husband. I need to have them available to me all the time. I do not like dry hands.
I always used Johnson & Johnson products with my boys when they were babies. They were always so gentle and made their skin so soft!
Johnsons products are the best. I love the nighttime wash. I have to admit though, I am not that good about moisturizing. We havent had any major skin issues so I figure leave well enough alone! If we needed it though we would choose Johnsons.
From baby me to my youngest sister, we have always used johnsons. It has always been the best.
i use natural products and often forget to moisturize. but coconut oil works great, but you have to get used to the smell.
To this day I still use Johnson & Johnson Baby lotion on my Kids and even myself, I love their products and always loved the smell… Your babies are too cute.. thanks for sharing
I love Johnson & Johnson Baby products and although my kids didn’t fare too well with them, I use them for my own skin even now. How I miss those baby massage times: such precious moments with Baby!
i really love to use Johnson baby lotion everday
So cute, what a baby! Very helpful to know that not only I can take care of my baby, I also can take care of my family. Great I love Johnson’s Baby
i iuse johnsons too so great for my skin not just my baby’s !
What a cute baby! Yes, moisturizing is so important for men and women. My dermatologist fusses at me every time I see him.
I moisturize with Burts Bees after a shower and throughout the day.
I keep lotion in my purse. I also hate when my hands are dry. It really does get to the point it hurts. Great pictures of the kids.
