Celebrate Hispanic Heritage With Diversity On Demand! #DiversityOnDemand #Giveaway

Disclosure:  This is part of a sponsored campaign with Diversity on Demand. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

It’s no secret that we are busy celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in my home as I’m sure most of you who are loyal readers have been keeping up with our recent posts outlining all of the festivities.  Films and entertainment are an important part of this month’s celebrations because they shine a spotlight on compelling Hispanic figures and their contributions to the arts.

This month, Diversity on Demand has partnered with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) to celebrate Hispanic Heritage by paying homage to the powerful and positive contributions that Hispanics have made in America.  It is undeniable the impact that Latinos have had within the film industry.  DOD will be highlighting these films this month on Cable’s On Demand Service.

Their goal is to provide Hispanic themed programming to digital cable customers in the form of Hispanic and Latino television shows and movies throughout the entire month.  Viewers can hope to find relevant, factual and entertaining Hispanic programming for the whole family through their local cable provider.

You can even test your own knowledge of Hispanic influenced entertainment by taking advantage of the Diversity and Demand’s Nada or Aficionado Facebook app and taking their entertainment quiz.  It will tell you whether you rate as a Nada (Novice) or an Aficionado (Expert.)  I’m sure many of you think that you know a lot about Hispanic films but you might be surprised!

I personally love quizzes and had a great time testing my Hispanic film knowledge on the app over and over.  The best part is that, when you take the quiz daily, you are entered into the sweepstakes for a chance to win an Entertainment On Demand Kit and a smart 32″ HDTV Grand Prize!  Imagine being able to watch your favorite Hispanic programming on a new HDTV!

Although, celebrating Hispanic Heritage should take place all year long, it’s important to take advantage of this month long celebration to recognize the diversity and contributions of Latinos.  Make sure you check out the Hispanic-themed programming that will be available on Diversity on Demand all month long.  Remember, this month everyone is an honorary Latino!
