Find What To Do Wherever You Are! @Zerve #travel #sponsored

Living in New York City is an amazing experience because there is always something to do and something to see.  There are so many cool activities and attractions from food tours to sails/cruises to historical landmarks and so much more in between.  Zerve is a tour and travel resource that helps people to find things to do wherever they are across the country.

The Zerve website has all kinds of fun tours and activities that are browsable by borough and neighborhood and according to they type of activity that you want to engage in.  Their many tours appeal to a variety of unique interests.  Here in New York City, sails are among their most popular tours particularly the Schooner Adirondack Sunset Sail and the AIA-NY Around Manhattan Architecture Tour.

I was looking for a romantic getaway with my husband so I chose the Schooner Adirondack Sunset Sail.  This sail takes place aboard a beautiful 80-foot Schooner where passengers experience the New York City sunset from the water while sightseeing past some of Manhattan’s waterside landmarks.

The new Freedom Tower.

My husband and I were impressed with how beautiful the Schooner Adirondack was and we knew immediately upon boarding that we were in for an amazing experience.  Some of the views that we saw along the way included the New York City skyline, Battery Park, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.  During the sail, complimentary champagne, wine, beer and soda were served which only added to the romantic ambiance.

Lady Liberty.

We had a beautiful and amazing experience and even met some other wonderful couples on the sail.  This is definitely not a tour that is for kids.  Although I have read reviews where children were taken on this sail, I found that the boat moves quite a bit, especially when the sails are up and you really have to hold on where you are sitting.

I recommend this tour for couples looking for a romantic night out or friends looking to spend a good time in New York City.  Also, make sure you dress comfortably.  I made the mistake of wearing these capris made of this shiny material and I was slipping and sliding in my seat the whole time.  Wear cotton and bring a sweater because it does get chilly at that time of the evening when you are on the water.

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and we loved being able to have an adult escape, away from the kids, where we could enjoy some drinks and have some adult conversation.  As you can see from the photos, the views were simply breathtaking.  Make sure you take this sail and let yourself sail away from the concrete and noise of the city.

The Manhattan skyline at night.

Let Zerve help you to discover the most unique things to do, wherever you are.  They believe that everyone should spend their time doing what they truly love and their passion is to help you discover those things!

Zerve–hum–I think it is time I started seeing sites in NYC and the surrounding areas that I have never seen before–there is so much you can do-better get to that site and start exploring!

  26. I had always used other apps to try to find things to do (or tourism board websites). Will have to check out Zerve next time we travel.
