Ten years ago, when I became a new mother, I had no idea the kind of joy that watching my baby would bring me every single day. There were many things that I had to learn since this was my first baby and I paid very close attention to him and learned what his needs were. Unfortunately, my son had very bad Colic as an infant so it sometimes became increasingly difficult to put him to sleep and to feed him because of the discomfort that it caused him.
In order to make his bedtime more comfortable for him, I decided to implement a ritual that I adhered to every evening. I figured if he had some consistency and if I did some special things with him, he would feel soothed enough to be able to sleep despite his Colic. So every night I bathed him, massaged his whole body with baby lotion before putting on his pamper, and I played classical music. For some reason that music helped so much in calming him and allowing him to succumb to sleep. I would lay next to him and watch him sleeping with an angelic expression on his beautiful face.
Three years later, when I had my second son, I was more experienced as a mom and I was able to put him to sleep every night without a problem. Of course, it also helped that he did not have Colic like his older brother and that he loved to go right to sleep as soon as he had a full belly. He also was a beautiful child when he was dreaming and getting his rest. It was such a joy to gaze upon his little face during his slumber.
Pampers understands the profound impact that parents experience when observe their babies loving, sleeping, and playing as they engage the world around them. To celebrate this they are launching a program which gives parents the opportunity to submit photos of their babies experiencing love, sleep, or play. Starting August 6th, parents all across North America will be able to submit and possibly have their photo appear on the Pampers Facebook page, in the Pampers Twitter feed, or even the brand’s special Love, Sleep & Play online gallery.
That’s not all! These photos will also have the opportunity of being featured in the brand’s groundbreaking celebration event in New York City next month. By joining the campaign, parents recognize and enjoy all the unique ways their babies experience love, sleep and play. Some babies experience love with their siblings, sleep by taking a nap, and play with toys so all parents understand the joy that comes with observing these behaviors.
Pampers and all of us would love to see photos of your own little one engrossed in those moments of love, sleep, and play. Make sure you submit a photo of your baby and help them pay tribute to the millions of ways that all babies experience love, sleep, and play and warm all of our hearts in the process.

I enjoyed my children and now enjoy my grand kids and pampers sure did make my life easier as a grand ma. I kept a box on hand when I baby sat.
I have one son and am new to everything. I love it, but I’m happy that if we have a second baby, I have extra experience! We love Pampers because they always fit my son well throughout his different ages and growth spurts.
That video made me smile, it is so sweet. My little guy will be turning one in about a week. It can be sad to think he is growing up so fast, but I have really enjoyed watching him as he explores and learns new things.
I think it would be great to be able to go straight to the knowledge we have learned with the first child. I was so much relaxed with my second!
My youngest is now 10 also and pampers were my diaper of choice with huggies running in second place. A cheap diaper doesn’t work! Just like cheap toilet paper, no way!
Aww babies are so cute! My youngest is now 4 🙂 Pampers has always been #1 in this house!
Pampers has always been #1 in our home.. my Teen is 18 and we always used pampers and I remember growing up when I was little I was in Pampers (I remember they used to have cardboard boxes with diapers and I always played inside the box..haha)..
