Dads are known for having the power to bring smiles to the faces of their children but, this Father’s Day, it’s our turn to bring the smile back to dads everywhere with the help of Oral-B. It’s about time that we gave back to all of the deserving fathers who work tirelessly to support their families and never complain about any of the sacrifices that they make.
My own Dad has always made me smile because of his sense of humor. Although he has always been a strict disciplinarian, he always managed to be funny and silly at just the right times when we were growing up. It was always a treat to see his smile or to hear his laughter and he has maintained this sense of humor to this day. It has always reminded me that he is always there for me, even when we disagree about something.
I’m sure that the special dad in your life will find the following video to be very touching and it will probably bring a smile to his face. Maybe the scenarios in it will inspire you and your dad to make your own family video…

I am fortunate to have a kind and patient father. When I was first learning mathematics as a child, I had the hardest time grasping any of it. My dad was the one who was able to teach me this subject in a way I could understand. I am thankful for it to this day 🙂

My father taught me to be kind to all animals. I remember when I was little we would be driving and he would see a stray dog. Next thing I knew we were find the dog’s owners. He taught me to always take off the plastic rings on all pop cans and bottles so the birds do not get stuck. To this day we still outside my bird feeders and enjoy the animals together.
My power of dad comes from my husband. I have loved watching him teach our three sons about history and playing weekend long board games with them. He has special dad/daughter times with our daughter and she thinks he hung the moon. He tucks in our kids at night and leads us in prayer at meals. He is a great example to our sons on what a dad should be.

My dad ended up raising 3 girls alone and I don’t know how he did it. He had to answer embarrassing teen questions and did so in such a gentle way although his face was flaming red at the time.He taught all of us how to ride bikes, throw curve balls, drive a car and also how to never let any obstacle stop us from reaching for our dreams. Most of all he was both a mom and dad to us and we never felt as if we were short one parent.
