Warm Up This Holiday Season With Abuelita Hot Chocolate!

The holidays are a great time to share traditions with families, friends, and other loved ones.  One of our favorite holiday traditions is curling up together and watching movies while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.  From as far back as I can remember, my grandmother in Spain used to prepare hot chocolate for me and it always made me feel warm and happy.  I’m enjoying passing that family tradition down to my sons and, since they both love chocolate, they really enjoy it.

As you can see from the photos, they had a great time preparing their mugs of Abuelita hot chocolate.  They were literally slurping from and licking the spoons that they used to mix the hot chocolate.  Considering how cold it has gotten in New York City the last couple of days, it was the perfect treat to warm them up and the perfect opportunity to create lasting holiday memories together.

Abuelita comes in two varieties, Abuelita Granulado and Abuelita Instant.  Both pack a delicious punch, however, they are specifically available to cater to the needs of today’s busy families.  With Abuelita Granulado, you can prepare a cup of rich hot chocolate in minutes.  Abuelita Instant comes in individual sealed packs that you can take with you anywhere so you can enjoy a hot cup of chocolate even when you are on the “go” or away from home.  It is really convenient to take to work which is right up my alley because I always take a “working lunch” and rarely get time to sit down and enjoy lunch.

Drinking Abuelita chocolate is like getting a big hug from someone you love, it is soothing, comforting, and just feels wonderful.  You can now send virtual abrazos, or hugs, through Abuelita’s “Abraza con una taza”  Facebook tab.  In essence, it allows us to send a “hug” to your Facebook friends and encourages them to reciprocate the hug love!  You can participate by visiting the Abuelita Facebook page and clicking on the “abraza” tab.

Every week, the Abuelita Facebook page will be hosting a variety of giveaways.  The first 500 users who create a “digital abrazo” each week from November 5th, 2012 to January 6th, 2013 will be eligible to receive a special gift basket and subsequent users will receive a coupon for savings on Abuelita. No purchase necessary, See Facebook.com/Abuelita for full details.
