Choosing the perfect antiperspirant and deodorant is very important in our home because we all have different needs when it comes to skin sensitivities and the level of odor protection that we require. My husband and my son generally require products that don’t irritate skin and have heavy odor blockers. I, on the other hand, don’t generally require very heavy odor protection but I do have very sensitive skin that reacts poorly to heavy perfumes and chemicals.
For the purpose of this review, we had the opportunity to try out Dry Idea-Advanced Dry Roll-on. It is available in in Unscented, Powder Fresh, and Cotton Dry scents and claims to have 24 hour protection in a fast drying MicroCotton Formula. Additionally, it is hypo-allergenic and contains Vitamin E. We chose to review the Powder Fresh Formula.
Although we tried the roll-on, I immediately liked that it did not feel wet and sticky under my arms. This is one of the reasons why I tend to shy away from roll-ons when I am purchasing deodorants or antiperspirants. Also, the Powder Fresh scent was not overpowering and did have a clean smell to it.
All three of us tried using the deodorant: myself, my husband, and my nine year old son. Although we all have sensitive skin, this deodorant did not irritate any of our skins. I actually wore it for the first time all day outdoors for a baby shower. It was extremely hot and muggy that day and I stayed fresh and clean the entire day. My husband and son wore the deodorant to the park where they tossed the football around and it managed to keep their strong body odor at bay the entire day.
