When my youngest son was born six years ago, we realized immediately that he had very sensitive skin. He suffered from infant acne and his cheeks and chin were red an irritated. His Pediatrician suggested that we apply Aquaphor ointment to his skin on a daily basis. We had never heard of it but we trusted the doctor so we went out and purchased it at our local pharmacy.
The first thing that we noticed was that the texture of this ointment was unlike others we had used before. It was not greasy and it went on smoothly when applied to our baby’s skin. We began to notice an improvement in the baby’s skin fairly quickly. His face wasn’t as irritated as it had been before and he wasn’t scratching his face due to it being dry and itchy anymore. After this experience, Aquaphor became a staple in our home and we use it for many of our skin care needs.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment is a is a dermatologist and pediatrician trusted product that helps protect and relieve dry, cracked skin. It provides effective soothing relief for dry skin and its mild formula is safe for external use on your baby’s delicate, sensitive skin. We used it safely on our son’s fragile baby skin so we can totally attest to how gentle it is.
The best part is that Aquaphor now has a whole line of products including Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash and Shampoo. It is a pediatrician-recommended cleanser that gently cleanses both skin and hair. Enriched with soothing chamomile and provitamin B5, the tear-free formula is specially designed and clinically proven to be mild enough for baby’s sensitive skin.

I love this stuff… I used to use it for my eczema all the time. Luckily don’t need it much anymore since I am controlling the eczema with diet. 🙂
It helps with chaffing.
This has helped my daughter’s eczema prone skin.
