General Mills Cereal Treat Bars® Review and Giveaway

If your family is anything like my family, mornings can be a very hectic time and it can be a real struggle making sure that we all don’t just run out of the house to work and school without eating something wholesome for breakfast.  Most weekdays, there just isn’t time to cook breakfast in the morning so my husband and I try to buy wholesome breakfast foods that can be eaten on the “go.”  General Mills Cereal Treat Bars not only taste great but they are nutritious at the same time.

Cereal Treat bars come in two flavor varieties, Golden Grahams® and Lucky Charms® Treats.  Both flavors come loaded with popular family favorite ingredients such as marshmallows and chocolate.  Each bar contains less than 140 calories and is made with wholesome cereal, making them a breakfast option for your children that you can certainly feel good about.

I cannot begin to tell you how excited my boys were about trying these Cereal Treat Bars.  Both of my sons loved the Golden Grahams® bars because they stated that they were, “marshmallowy and chocolatey.”  Although this one was their favorite, they also liked the taste of the Lucky Charms® Treats which, as my eight year old son put it, were “very sweet.”

My boys were able to remove the bars from the box and had no difficulty opening the individual wrapper.  Both of the flavors tasted good but it comes down to a matter of preference, whether you like the chocolate taste of the Golden Grahams® bars or the sweet, marshmallow taste of the Lucky Charms® Treats.

As my five year old pointed out when he inspected the box, you can also earn two Box Tops for Education Seals from each box of Cereal Treat Bars that you purchase.  Your child’s school can redeem these seals in order to obtain learning supplies.  Many schools across the country are participating in this program and have earned cash to spend on much needed materials for their school and their students.

Make sure you check out Cereal Treats Bars online for great information, coupons, and promotions about new products. Also, be sure to visit the Betty Crocker Facebook Page and get involved in the conversation by sharing how your family enjoys Cereal Treat Bars!
