Domino’s Digital Insiders Day #DPZDigitalInsiders @dominos #ad

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Domino's World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan and I am excited to tell you about all I learned during my two days there. I have loved Domino's pizza for years and was thrilled to learn just how dynamic of a company they truly are.     Domino's Pizza started as a single store back in 1960 and today they are recognized as the world leader in pizza delivery. Back in 1960, Tom Monaghan and brother, James, purchase "DomiNick's," a pizza store in Ypsilanti, Mich. Monaghan borrowed $500 to buy the store. In 1961 James trades his half of the business to Tom for a Volkswagen Beetle. Then in 1965, Tom, the sole owner of the company, renames the business "Domino's Pizza, Inc." The first Domino's Pizza franchise store opens in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1967.     From the very beginning, Domino's has been dedicated to providing their customers with the best service, quality products and delivery excellence. … [Read more...]

Tweet Your Best Clean #PottyHumor Jokes To @Charmin For A Great Cause! #Partner

This past Tuesday, my family and I had the distinct pleasure of attending a live comedy show that was hosted by Charmin featuring comedian and improv artist, Wayne Brady in New York City.  Aside from the fact that my husband has always been a fan of Mr. Brady, I was very excited to be a part of an event that was supporting such a great cause.  The "Keep It Clean" Comedy Show aimed to clean up potty humor so it could be enjoyed by people of all ages.      You see, for each tweet received throughout the month of September, using the hashtag #PottyHumor, Charmin will be donating $1 to Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC), up to $10,000.  As a Leukemia Survivor, I can't think of a better way for Charmin to give back in such a generous way.  RMHC provides stability and vital resources to families so they can get, and keep, their children healthy and happy through programs like Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and … [Read more...]

This July, Go Back To Where It All Began… #Minions @Minions #Ad

This past week, my family and I had the opportunity to attend the advanced screening of the Minions movie here in New York City.  We were all very excited because we have always loved these funny characters and were curious to see what a movie dedicated entirely to their story would be like.     Many of the coming attractions promised that it would be a hilarious and entertaining film and it certainly did not disappoint.  All of us were laughing from the beginning to the end of the movie and it really did give us a broader perspective into who the Minions actually are and where they originate from.     The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's Minions commences at the dawn of time.  Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, the Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable and ill-reputed of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters—from T. rex to Napoleon—the Minions find themselves without someone to … [Read more...]

The Circus Is In Town! #RinglingBros #CircusXtreme @FeldEnt @RinglingBros #Partner

Ever since my boys were little, they have loved the circus.  I can still remember their bright, shining faces the first time that my husband and I took them to see it.  I'm not sure who had more fun, us or them.  Now that they are older, I was very excited to have the opportunity to take them to see the new Ringling Bros. Circus Xtreme at the Barclay's Center in New York City.  I couldn't wait to see how they would react to the show now that they are older.     This new show features some unexpected spectacles that have never been seen before in the with unique circus artists and amazing animals.  That is why I think it is appealing to children and adults of all ages, it has attractions that appeal to everyone universally.  The best part was that, this time, I had the chance to take my nephews with us to the show so I enjoyed seeing their looks of wonder and amazement as each star put on their act.     My younger son's favorite star was Gemma Querida Kirby, also known as The … [Read more...]

Experience The Magic Of Radio City Christmas Spectacular! #RadioCityChristmas @RCChristmas #Ad

Most New Yorkers will tell you that there are certain magical events and locations that define the holiday season here in New York City.  Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of attending the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the iconic Radio City Music Hall.  Just seeing the beautiful and talented Rockettes in the commercials on television made me realize that seeing this event live would be a once in a lifetime opportunity.     Recently, I had the privilege of not only attending the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with my family but of visiting the famous Roxy Suite at Radio City.  This suite is normally reserved for Radio City performers and VIPs like Elton John, Dave Matthews and Paul McCartney.  It boasts 20-foot-high domed ceilings made of real gold, cherrywood walls and an intimate dining area.  I could literally feel the spirit of the room's history while I was in it.     This year's Radio City Christmas Spectacular includes dynamic songs and dance … [Read more...]

Go Back In Time Walking With Dinosaurs! #WalkingWithDinosaurs #Ad @JohnLeguizamo

*This post was written by me on behalf of 20th Century Fox.  All opinions are 100% mine.     Last weekend, my family and I had the distinct privilege of attending the Walking With Dinosaurs premiere in New York City.  My sons and nephews are big dinosaur fans and they were thrilled to have the opportunity to be transported back in time to a period when they walked the earth.  I'm not sure who enjoyed the film more, our kids or my husband and I.     The thing that makes this film so unique is the fact that, for the first time in movie history, audiences will truly see and feel what it was like when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. WALKING WITH DINOSAURS is the ultimate immersive, big screen adventure for families. Meet dinosaurs more real than you've ever seen as you take off on a thrilling prehistoric adventure, where Patchi, an underdog dinosaur, triumphs against all odds to become a hero for the ages.     One of the things that I really enjoyed about Walking With Dinosaurs, as an … [Read more...]

I participated in a campaign on behalf of HP. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.     Recently we had the opportunity to attend a very special event with TV personality and interior designer Genevieve Gorder.  We asked her all of our photo décor related questions which was especially helpful to me because I love putting photos up in our home but I never know how to arrange them.  Now that HP offers unique, same-day photo creations including photo canvases and mounted photos, I knew that this was the perfect time to brush up on my wall decorating skills.     On top of that, the holidays are coming and HP's same-day photo creations allow you to personalize and tailor gifts for all of your friends and loved ones.  I love personalized gifts because I feel that they let the recipient know how important they are to you and that you took the time out to really think about their gift.  Photos are a wonderful way to commemorate your most cherished … [Read more...]

Celebrate 30 Years Of Joy With Cabbage Patch Kids! #CabbagePatchKids30th #Ad

*This post was written by me on behalf of Cabbage Patch Kids.  I received complimentary product samples to facilitate this review.  All opinions are 100% mine.     Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved Cabbage Patch Dolls.  I can still remember the day that my father brought home a Cabbage Patch doll just for me.  My hands were trembling as I took her out of the box and I could immediately smell the signature scent that they all come with, baby powder.  Even though she had yarn for hair and was unlike any other doll that I had ever owned, I loved her.     She came with her own birth certificate which stated that her name was Christabella.  I remember thinking that this was the most beautiful name in the world.  Every single day, I changed her clothes and dressed her in baby clothes that my cousin had outgrown.  In my mind, she was my baby and I was her mommy and nobody could tell me any differently.     This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend a media event … [Read more...]
