Recently, my nine year old son started wearing deodorant. Yes, he is only nine years old! One afternoon, after he returned from basketball practice, I noticed that he was especially stinky but I wasn’t sure if it was just from sweating during practice or if it was finally time to address the personal hygiene issue. Sure enough, when I took a whiff of his armpits, I realized that he would need to start wearing deodorant daily.
When I found out we would have the opportunity to try out new Dry Idea AdvancedDry Antiperspirant and Deodorant, I couldn’t wait to have my son use it. You see, he is an athlete and this deodorant has enduring odor protection that lasts for 72 hours and Pulse Activated Wetness Protection. Normally, he has to apply deodorant a few times a day but I was hopeful that this one would keep him feeling clean and confident all day long.
The other thing that I loved about Dry Idea AdvancedDry is that it comes in a hypoallergenic variety with Vitamin E. As I have shared with you previously, my sons both suffer from asthma and have very sensitive skin. I always gravitate towards purchasing hypoallergenic products whenever possible due to concerns about my boys possibly having skin reactions or rashes.
Not only did the Dry Idea AdvancedDry do the trick and keep my son fresh and clean through a whole day of school, sports, and outdoor play but it also did not irritate his skin at all. My son also loved that it had a great scent that just smelled clean instead of having either a strong masculine or feminine scent. We definitely will be giving this deodorant the Tough Cookie Mommy seal of approval.
