Those of you who have been following this blog for awhile know that my six year old son suffers from moderate to severe asthma and allergies.  In addition to this, he has always had extremely sensitive skin and we have had to be careful about the soaps and detergents that we expose him to regularly.  This is especially a concern with regards to the laundry detergent that we use to wash his clothes.

    We were very excited to learn that Purex was coming out with a laundry detergent that is made especially for babies.  Although my son is not a baby, due to his allergies and health concerns, we need to use a detergent that will remove stubborn stains without hurting his delicate skin.  Purex Baby detergent keeps his clothes bright, white, and clean like we have come to expect from all the other Purex products that we use.  However, it is sensitive enough for our son’s skin.

    This detergent boasts a dermatologist-tested formula that is hypoallergenic and washes clothes with a light baby-inspired fragrance.  Also, we love that we do not have to spend a fortune on safe products that cater to our son’s needs.  Those of you who have children or babies, like we do, know the importance of being able to save money for all of the other expenses that arise from raising a child.  Purex Baby detergent costs a fraction of the leading brand and does not compromise quality when it comes to getting to work tackling those tough stains.

    Overall, we were very pleased with Purex Baby detergent.  Our son’s clothes came out fresh and clean from the washing machine and he did not have any reactions on his skin after wearing the washed clothing.  Like all Purex detergents, Purex Baby is designed to perform properly for all washers, from high efficiency to traditional top-loader washing machines so that is another concern that we were able to toss right out the window.
